Abstract
This paper deals with estimates of the type of advection semigroups wi th contraction boundary operator when the velocity space is bounded aw ay from zero. Two approaches are given. The first one, using energy me thod, relies on Datko-Pazy's theorem while the second approach is base d upon the analysis of the resolvent operator and the identity of the spectral bound (of generators) and the type of positive semigroups on L-p(mu) Spaces by Weis.
