Abstract
The collapse in the nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation is considered in a general way for a sufficiently wide class of nonlinearities. A differ ential inequality making it possible to estimate the collapse dynamics is derived. As examples, the estimates are obtained for some nonlinea rities having physical interest.
