Methods for calculating the spatial-temporal and angular characteristi
cs of the sound field in the shadow zone are considered. A numerical m
odel is proposed for sound penetration into this domain, which is proh
ibited by geometrical acoustics. Numerical simulation data are shown t
o agree well with experimental data.
