Abstract
Binary azeotropic data for 2-ethoxyethanol + ethylbenzene, 2-ethoxyeth anol + o-xylene, 2-ethoxyethanol + m-xylene, 2-ethoxyethanol + p-xylen e, 2-methyl-1-butanol + ethylbenzene, 2-methyl-1-butanol + o-xylene, 2 -methyl-1-butanol + m-xylene, 2-methyl-1-butanol + p-xylene, dimethyl carbonate + cyclohexane, dimethyl carbonate + methylcyclopentane, dime thyl carbonate + hexane, and dimethyl carbonate + heptane have been me asured at different pressures. The experimental azeotropic data were c ompared with the results predicted using the group contribution method s ASOG, UNIFAC, modified UNIFAC (Dortmund), and modified UNIFAC (Lyngb y).
