Abstract
The amidase (EC 3.5.1.4) production by Rhodococcus sp. NHB-2 has been investigated. This organism produces an aliphatic amide specific amida se. The cultural conditions for the amidase production by Rhodococcus sp. NHB-2 and reaction conditions for assay for this amidase have been optimised.
