Abstract
alpha-Sulfonyl phosphonates were synthesized by direct sulfonylation g f lithiated alkyl phosphonates with benzenesulfonyl fluoride which hav e shown different reactivity from benzenesulfonyl chloride generally k nown as a sulfonylating reagent.
