M. Katayama et al., DETERMINATION OF CYCLOSPORINE-A BY HIGH-PERFORMANCE LIQUID-CHROMATOGRAPHY WITH ARYL OXALATE CHEMILUMINESCENCE DETECTION, Analytical letters, 31(4), 1998, pp. 621-629
Monitoring of cyclosporine A in 40 whole blood samples from renal tran
splantation patients by high performance liquid chromatography with ar
yl oxala,te-sulforhodamine 101 chemiluminescence detection is describe
d. These data were compared with fluorescence polarized immunoassay (C
yclosporine-SP Dynapack(TM) using monoclonal antibody for whole blood)
, with good results (r = 0.88, y = 0.80 + 5.07). These values are the
same as reported by high performance liquid chromatography with photom
etric detection. By using a solid phase extraction cartridge, cyclospo
rine A was analyzed within 30 min. The analysis time could be shortene
d to one tenth that previously reported. The proposed method has the s
ame sensitivity as fluorescence polarized immunoassay.
