Abstract
Modern managed mental health care therapy, also known as pithy therapy , has continued to undergo important improvements and refinements. In addition to the training of therapists, research shows that it is impo rtant to train case managers in the appropriate use of pithy managemen t theory and techniques. This article presents the first half-day of a n in-service program on empowerment for case managers. It is hoped tha t the psychology profession will find such information valuable and th at sharing this bold new paradigm in management-supervisory training w ill be illustrative for formal training programs.
