Peculiarities of diffusion of multiplying admixture (phytoplankton) ar
e considered under conditions of various types of oceanic turbulence,
two-dimensional and three-dimensional microscale and two and three-dim
ensional multiscale. It was shown that several regimes of diffusive pa
rticles may be observed: continuous, pulsing, intermittent, and occasi
onal. A decrease of the patch sizes and their life time is observed, w
hen turbulence is intensified. In the case of multiscale turbulence th
e difference between diffusive patches of multiplying phytoplankton an
d of conservative admixture becomes negligibly low.
