Abstract
Complete decolorization of the dark brown wastewater of the yeast-prod uction industry is faced with problems. Biological treatments, aerobic or anaerobic, can never ensure colorless effluent; thus, some additio nal decolorization process is usually needed. The application of ozone , as a final decolorization step, seems to be promising.
