Bm. Tadjikov et al., SPIN COHERENCE EFFECTS OBSERVED IN THE OD ESR-SPECTRA OF RADICAL PAIRS WITH STRONG HYPERFINE INTERACTION, Chemical physics letters, 284(3-4), 1998, pp. 214-220
The optically detected ESR technique is used to record the spectra of
a radical pair generated in the photolysis of 2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl d
iphenylphosphine oxide in a micellar sodium dodecylsulfate solution. A
long with the signals of the radicals of the pair, additional resonanc
es have been detected in the spectrum, whose signal is inverted with r
espect to the fundamental ones. It is shown that the inverted lines co
nsist of narrow and wide components, which arise from the effects of c
rossing and anticrossing of pair spin energy levels, respectively. (C)
