A. Boukerb et al., SUBSTITUENT EFFECTS ON THE REGIOSELECTIVITY IN FLUORINATION OF ALLYLIC ALCOHOLS WITH DAST, Journal of fluorine chemistry, 88(1), 1998, pp. 23-27
The regioselectivity of the fluorination of various allylic and beta-d
ienoic alcohols with DAST has been studied. Substituent effects are im
portant in these reactions; a strong preference for the secondary fluo
rides versus the primary ones is observed, especially in the case of a
lkyl and aryl substituted derivatives. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science S.A.
