Abstract
In this communication we obtain an approximate formula for the effecti ve electrical conductivity for a two-component two-dimensional materia l. The basis of the formula is Keller's reciprocity theorem. The deriv ed formula satisfies the reciprocity condition at-all values of the co ncentration, and the predictions of the formula agree well with data o n the electrical conductivity of several two-component materials.
