Abstract
Reaction of dicyandiamide 1 with 4-aryl-thiosemicarbazides 3a-d yields ylimino-4-imino-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-1,3,5-triazine- 6-thiols 4a-d pres umably by the intramolecular cyclisation of the biguanidothiourea deri vatives formed during the reaction.
