Abstract
A comparison of different methods to measure body composition in growt h hormone deficient patients is presented. The technical limitations o f the available methods are discussed. The techniques used to measure body composition and fat free mass has been by total body water, total body potassium, dual energy X-ray absorptiometry, bioelectrical imped ance and total body nitrogen.
