Abstract
An efficient method is proposed to design error feedback to reduce qua ntization noise in canonical direct form realization of IIR filters. T he method is based on minimizing the weighted Chebyshev error derived between the noise-free desired filter and the designed one using a Rem ez loop. The noise power of the obtained filter is significantly lower than the initial one and better than filters corrected using other pr oposed methods, without significantly increasing implementation cost.
