INTELLIGENT DECISION-SUPPORT

The goal of the MOKASSIN project is to support business-process and sy stems integration. Existing applications will be agentified in order t o enable their interoperability. The behaviour of the entire system co mprising heterogeneous applications should be guided by business-proce ss models. Based on several case-studies the main requirements were de rived. These case studies showed that thinking in terms of processes m ay be valuable for analysis purposes but not For the specification of the users-needs, Due to the interesting insights we gained the case-st udies are outlined in more detail in this paper. From a systems point of view the end-users can be classified into users of information syst ems and users of intelligent systems.
