Abstract
Two in vitro cultured model plants, cabbage hypocotyls and Norway spru ce polyembryonic mass, were used to investigate the interaction of hum ic substances with nitrogen nutrition and their effect on plant growth . Present study demonstrated a possibility of in vitro plant growth st imulation by sodium humate with optimum at 50 mg.l(-1) and elimination of growth inhibitions caused by nitrogen deficiency.
