Abstract
The title compound (AANTO) has been first synthesized, and its molecul ar structure and crystal structure have been determined. The prelimina ry applications in hydroxy-terminated polybutadiene propellant (HTPB) and composite modified double base propellant (CMDB) showed that repla cement of part of ammonium perchlorate (AP) or HMX by AANTO could redu ce the combustion temperature greatly and improve the specific impulse to some extent.
