Abstract
The joint investigation by X-ray diffraction, Raman scattering and Lum inescence, allows to define the different domains of the Eu1-xBixV1-yA syO4 system (0 less than or equal to x less than or equal to 1 and 0 l ess than or equal to y less than or equal to 0.50). An enhancement of the luminescence effect is obtained for some arsenovanadates with tetr agonal zircon type EuVO4 related structure.
