The angular power spectra of the infrared maps obtained by the Diffuse
Infrared Background Experiment (DIRBE) instrument on the COBE2 satell
ite have been obtained by two methods: (1) the Hauser-Peebles method p
reviously applied to the Differential Microwave Radiometer experiment
maps, and (2) by Fourier transforming portions of the all-sky maps pro
jected onto a plane. The two methods give consistent results, and the
power spectrum of the high-latitude dust emission is C-l proportional
to l(-3) in the range 2 < l < 300.
