Abstract
Structural features of the agonist leukotriene C-4 (LTC4) derived from conformational analysis has led to the development of an intuitive re ceptor model and the design of potential LTC, antagonists. These compo unds are modelled, in which either phenoxymethyleneoxadiazole, N-pheny lbenzamide or phenyloxymethylenetetrazole functionality is incorporate d as a planar equivalent of LTC4. The trifluoromethyl group is introdu ced at the lipophilic binding pocket of the agonist.
