Abstract
A new and efficient method for the deacetylation of alpha-bromo-alpha- substituted-acetoacetates to obtain alpha-bromoesters has been achieve d by treatment with LiClO4/Et3N in ether at room temperature. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
