Abstract
Measurements with a plate transducer, up to 1600 degrees C, are invest igated in the current paper. The calibration of the transducer, compar ative measurements concerning the accuracy of specific heat capacity d etermination, the modelling for the high-temperature range and results for three steels are presented.
