Mp. Bondar et al., EXPLOSIVE COMPACTION OF COMPOSITE-MATERIALS BASED ON A POWDERED ALUMINUM-ALLOY REINFORCED BY HIGH-STRENGTH FIBERS, Combustion, explosion, and shock waves, 33(3), 1997, pp. 378-383
Compaction of a powdered aluminum alloy reinforced by high-strength me
tallic and ceramic fibers in a flat layer under a running explosive lo
ading a's studied. The values of the compaction pressure of the matrix
material and of the failure pressure of ceramic fibers are found. The
structure of the compacts obtained and the character of failure are a
nalyzed.
