Abstract
Sorption of uranium from seawater witt? calcium carbonate was studied experimentally. It was shown that sorption of uranium is independent o f the presence of phosphates and slightly decreases with decreasing pH . The role of carbonate sediments in removal of uranium from seawater was estimated.
