Abstract
Various sources for the rf-dc differences of micropotentiometers (micr opots) are analyzed and calculated, The results are shown to agree wel l with experimental values, A new design is introduced that reduces th e rf-de differences of the micropots significantly. Observations show good stability over a long period. This makes the micropot suitable as a primary rf and audio standard in the microvolt and millivolt ranges .
