Ra. Ginley, LINE-REFLECT-MATCH CALIBRATION TECHNIQUE FOR THE DUAL 6-PORT AUTOMATIC NETWORK ANALYZER, IEEE transactions on instrumentation and measurement, 46(2), 1997, pp. 523-526
A newly developed method allows dual six-post automatic network analyz
ers (ANA's) to be calibrated with a single, known one-port termination
instead of air line standards. This technique is especially useful fo
r calibrations below 30 MHz, where air lines cannot be adequately char
acterized, The choice of the value of the standard is also discussed.
