Abstract
One-string-loop (torus topology) corrections to black-string backgroun ds corresponding to gauged SL(2, R) x R/R WZW model are calculated usi ng P-function equations derived from string-loop-corrected effective a ction. Loop-corrected backgrounds are used to calculate ADM mass of th e black string.
