Abstract
A contact-free enhanced-scattering diagnostic technique for studying p lasma oscillations and the diagnostic equipment used for these measure ments in the FT-1 tokamak are described. The measurement results are b riefly discussed. Spontaneous high-frequency short-wavelength plasma o scillations have been observed in Ohmic discharges in a frequency rang e of up to 250 MHz.
