Abstract
The electron-phonon coupling strength of Nd3+ and U3+ in K2LaCl5 was i nvestigated by performing temperature-dependent line-width measurement s. It is shown that the electron-phonon coupling strength of the actin ide is stronger than for the lanthanide. Parameters that can qualitati vely explain this difference are discussed.
