We present a measurement and partial wave analysis of the final state
K(L)K(+/-)pi(-/+) of (p) over bar p annihilation at rest in liquid hyd
rogen. This reaction is important for the study of the KK decay mode o
f scalar resonances, in particular, the isovectors a(0)(980) and a(0)(
1450). The determination of the a(0)(1450) production also fixes the (
K) over bar K coupling of the isoscalar f(0)(1500) which is discussed
as a glueball. We find B((p) over bar p -->a(0)(1450)pi;a(0)(1450)-->(
K) over bar K)=(8.88+/-1.68) X 10(-4) and hence B((p) over bar p-->f(0
)(1500)pi;f(0)(1500)-->(K) over bar K)=(4.52 +/- 0.36) x 10(-4). The m
ass and width of a(0)(1450) are m = 1480+/-30 MeV/c(2) and Gamma = 265
+/-15 MeV/c(2), respectively. For a(0)(980) we determine the relative
ratio B((p) over bar p-->a(0) pi;a(0)-->(K) over bar K)/B((p) over bar
p-->a(0) pi;a(0)-->pi eta)=0.23+/-0.05 and its relative coupling, (K)
over bar K to pi eta, is 1.03+/-0.14. [S0556-2821(98)02907-5].
