Abstract
The gastrointestinal polyposis syndromes are disorders with multiple i ntestinal polyps. Three of these disorders, familial adenomatous polyp osis, Peutz-Jeghers syndrome and juvenile polyposis are associated wit h increased risk of colorectal as well as extracolonic cancers. A desc ription of the phenotype and associated cancer risk is provided for ea ch.
