Abstract
The title compound, [Zr(C5H5)(2)(C6H5)(2)], has two cyclopentadienyl a nd two phenyl ligands arranged in a distorted tetrahedral geometry aro und the Zr atom, Steric interactions produce an opening of the Cp-Zr-C p angle to 131.7(1) degrees and a tilting of both phenyl rings in thei r own planes about the Zr-C bonds by several degrees.
