Abstract
The molybdosilicic acid residue, H4SiMo12O40, has the Keggin structure , with M-O distances varying between 1.796 (4) and 2.112 (3) Angstrom. In the hexamethylphosphoramide groups, all N atoms except one show a planar coordination.
