Abstract
In the spirocyclic title complex, [PtSn2(CH3)(4)(C14H14P)(2)], the Pt atom is situated at the centre of a slightly distorted square-planar c oordination polyhedron. The Pt-P [2.283 (1) and 2.286 (1) Angstrom] an d Pt-Sn [2.5973 (5) and 2.6047 (5) Angstrom] distances agree well with the corresponding distances in related compounds.
