Abstract
The addition of dibenzylamine to Me2AlCl gives the title alane adduct, [M(e)2ClAl(NHBz(2))] or [AlCl(CH3)(2)(C14H15N)]. The coordination geo metry about the Al atom is distorted tetrahedral in both the crystalli ne phase and in solution.
