Abstract
In the title compound (1-acetyl-4-oxoimidazolidine-2-thione, C5H6N2O2S ), the plane of the acetyl group forms an angle of 6.7 degrees with th e essentially planar thiohydantoin ring, N-H ... O hydrogen bonds crea te quasi-planar chains of molecules along the y axis.
