Abstract
Photoluminescence spectra of Ge/Ge1-xSix multiple quantum well structu res at liquid-helium temperatures in a magnetic field of up to 14 T ha ve been measured for the first time. The value of well width fluctuati ons has been estimated as 1-3 monolayers. The diamagnetic shift of pho toluminescence lines has been observed. Its value allowed us to estima te the in-plane size of exciton localization in Ge layers as similar t o 80 Angstrom.
