The account covers a period of dramatic growth and development, with t
hree distinctive features: 1) Methodologically, emphasis on ''bibliome
try'' -a quantitative approach to the study of psychological literatur
e. 2) In terms of content, continuing focus on the history of psycholo
gy of Spain, while not neglecting the developments abroad. 3) Organiza
tionally, markedly increased volume of research, reflected in papers c
ontributed to journals and presented at the annual meetings of the Spa
nish Society for the History of Psychology. The following aspects of t
he literature will be considered: Treatises, monographs, collections o
f contributions, proceedings, and journals.
