Abstract
A simple method based on capillary zone electrophoresis was proposed f or the analysis of hydrazine and its methyl derivatives. Berate carrie r electrolyte (pH 7.18) was found to be best for the complete resoluti on of hydrazine, methylhydrazine, N,N'-dimethylhydrazine, and N,N-dime thylhydrazine. The described method is modestly sensitive (detection l imit around 1.10(-3) mol.l(-1)) and proved suitable for rapid identifi cation and quantitative evaluation of the analyzed substances in aqueo us solutions.
