Abstract
A previously healthy 50 year old male developed acute non-oliguric ren al failure following oral acyclovir administered for one day to treat Herpes-Zoster. There was no neurological manifestations. Renal functio n started to recover one week after discontinuing acyclovir and return ed to normal within 3 weeks.
