Abstract
Photorefractive properties of Rh:BaTiO3 have been studied at 1064 nm u sing radiation from Nd:YAG lasers in both CW and repetitively pulsed r egimes. Two-beam coupling and self-pumped phase conjugation are invest igated at this wavelength for application to laser beam control. We th us investigate Q-switched Nd:YAG MOPA arrangements using Rh:BaTiO3 as a phase-conjugate mirror. Alternatively, two-wave coupling is used to clean up the beam of a CW Nd:YAG laser. In both techniques, reasonable extraction efficiency and good correction of phase aberrations are de monstrated.
