Abstract
An objective scaling of facial nerve function based on area analysis ( OSCAR) was developed using the variations of luminance produced by cha nges of facial expression. The presented method of scaling facial moti ons has the advantage of being continuous, objective, and reproducible , It is fast and simple to use.
