We reported two cases of chronic bronchiectasis and rapidly progressiv
e necrotizing glomerulonephritis/severe renal failure which were also
positive for anti-myeloperoxidase antibody, and followed their treatme
nt and outcome. Immunosuppressive therapy was complicated by superimpo
sed chest infection in both cases. Nonetheless, cautious use of immuno
suppressive and antibiotic therapy reversed dialysis-dependent renal f
ailure in one of the two cases.
