I. Tekin et Eh. Newman, METHOD OF MOMENTS SOLUTION FOR A WIRE ATTACHED TO AN ARBITRARY FACETED SURFACE, IEEE transactions on antennas and propagation, 46(4), 1998, pp. 559-562
This paper presents a method of moments (MoM) solution to the problem
of a wire attached to an arbitrary faceted surface by developing a spe
cial attachment basis function, which enforces continuity of current a
t the wire/plate junction and also models the nearly singular-plate su
rface-current density in the vicinity of the attachment point, This ne
w attachment mode contains a nonplanar disk, which conforms to the fac
eted surface in the vicinity of the attachment point and has current t
hat spreads uniformly from the attachment point. It is applicable near
or at the edges and corners of the facets.
