Abstract
The resolution and quantitative determination of multicomponent chroma tograms with noise were investigated using wavelet transform and windo w factor analysis (WFA). It was proved that wavelet transform is a ver y powerful technique for noise filtering and that quantitative results by WFA can be greatly improved for a noisy chromatographic data matri x by wavelet transform preprocessing.
