Abstract
We discuss the possibility of extracting phase shifts from finite volu me energies for meson-meson scattering, where the mesons are fermion-a ntifermion bound states of the massive. Schwinger model with SU(2) fla vour symmetry. The existence of analytical strong coupling predictions for the mass spectrum and for the scattering phases makes it possible to test the reliability of numerical results.
