Abstract
We present new results from the Fermilab weak matrix-element project. The decay constants of heavy-light pseudoscalar mesons are calculated using the Fermilab formalism for heavy quarks and a tadpole-improved S W action for light quarks. Improvement allows the bottom quark to be s imulated directly on the lattice removing the need for large extrapola tions. The dependence on the lattice spacing is discussed for 5.7 less than or equal to beta less than or equal to 6.1.
