Abstract
The fireproofing effect of methyl phosphite berate and analogous firep roofing compounds on textile materials of various fibrous nature was s tudied. The effect of grafting fireproofing compounds on wool fibers w as evaluated. The mechanism of thermal oxidative degradation of fibrou s substrates and their physico-mechanical properties were investigated .
